A sign of life (and important change of plans)
I've been pondering over this for years, and it's completely stagnated the entire development of the game more times than the count of all the rolls in my toilet paper collection. And for all you know that might be a lot.
Either way, this called for a choice, a choice so hard it has entirely amputated this game and all my motivation to a point where I'd rather dispose of the game as a whole.
BUT PLANS HAVE CHANGED
of course I'm not dropping the game
I've decided:
If it really matters that much, won't I have the motivation to change it later anyways?
Yeah, obviously. And graphics, though it is my favourite aspect of game development, it's not the way to build a game.
URP, HERE WE GO
Yup, Universal Render Pipeline. Not the High Definition one. This calls for a few changes... But nothing we can't conquer!
This will finally allow the further development of the game, and even though I have limited time and energy to spare lately, I will spend every moment I find available to work, if only slightly, on the coming major update for TPBG. I'll more than ever need your feedback and input to fine tune the bulky and rough graphics and functions this inevitably leads to.
This changes everything.
Thanks to all who took the time and interest to even open this post!
Yours truly, Loe
