GRID BUILDING (and stability improvements) (AND MAC SUPPORT)


MAC IS RELEASED

This was about fucking time, but I do not have any mac devices even remotely close to my home so I do not know if the files even work, or if they do, how they work (so please explain it to me in a way that could be understandable to any other mac user)

PRESS R TO SWITCH TO THE GRID MODE

THIS is the hugest update so far, with countless bug fixes, performance improvements, and STABILITY IMPROVEMENTS. This means the chance of the game crashing (a problem with the game engine I use) will most likely not occur again, unless you literally provoke it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A few visual improvements have been added as well, among them a few UI overlays to clarify both the controls and to show what tools you are using.

The reason I worked so long on this game is because of the messy code that has been present since the very first build more than half a year ago, and now I finally cleaned it up and separated the scripts, making them more readable and more performant.

THE GRID BUILDING IS NOT POLISHED

This entire update was pushed in kind of a hurry, only a few moments after the very basic grid functions were implemented. I am working on a better approach to the grid system, so IF YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK please share it with me so I can do something about it :)

SCROLL TO ROTATE OBJECT

You can now rotate the material you are placing down so that you don't need to be pointing the camera a specific direction to get the desired rotation of the object.
